Privacy Policy

Gymdule ("the App") is a fitness schedule manager developed by Kenko ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the App collects and how it is used.

1. Data We Collect

Data stored on your device only

  • Training schedules — your weekly exercise plans, sets, reps, and weight entries are stored locally on your device using an embedded database. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share a week (see Section 3).
  • App preferences — your selected theme, font, color mode, weight unit, and language preference are stored locally on your device.

Data processed by third parties

  • Purchase information — if you purchase Gymdule Pro, the transaction is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We use RevenueCat to verify your purchase status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous device identifier and transaction receipt. No personal identity information is sent. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
  • Crash reports — the App uses Sentry to collect anonymous crash reports and error data. This may include device model, OS version, and stack traces. No personal information is included. Personal data (IP addresses) is scrubbed before storage. See Sentry's Privacy Policy.
  • Usage analytics — the App uses PostHog to collect anonymous usage data such as which screens are viewed and which features are used (e.g. creating a week, changing a theme). Events include device platform, selected language, and color mode — no personal identity information. We do not call PostHog's identify() function, so all data is fully anonymous. IP addresses are discarded and not stored. See PostHog's Privacy Policy.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

  • We do not require an account or sign-in.
  • We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any personal identity information.
  • We do not use advertising or tracking SDKs. Analytics and crash reporting are anonymous (see Section 1).
  • We do not collect location data.
  • We do not access your contacts, camera, microphone, or other device sensors.

3. Week Sharing

When you use the "Share Week" feature, a snapshot of that week's exercise plan is uploaded to our cloud server. The shared data includes only exercise names and training parameters — no personal information. Shared weeks are accessible to anyone with the 8-character share code. You can share a week at any time; there is no way to delete a shared week once uploaded.

4. Exercise Library Sync

On launch, the App downloads exercise reference data (names, descriptions, instructions, images) from our cloud server. This is a one-way download of public reference data. No personal data is sent during this process.

5. Language Detection

The App reads your device's language setting to display content in your preferred language. This setting is read locally and is not transmitted anywhere.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

  • Local data — all data stored on your device (schedules, preferences) is deleted when you uninstall the App.
  • Shared weeks — week snapshots uploaded via the Share feature are retained on our server indefinitely. Shared weeks contain no personal information.
  • Purchase records — transaction records are managed by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat according to their respective retention policies.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
